On May 31, 2006, I saw an ad in the Edmonton Examiner for a Rebate Processing work-from-home job opportunity and checked it out on the website provided.
I sent a personal cheque that day for $35 to order a start-up kit and instructions for Rebate Processing. I also sent a registration form that was filled out, printed and mailed with the cheque made payable to Rebate Starter Kit. The form indicated that it would take 2-3 weeks for the package to arrive.
No pkg arrived in 2-3 weeks. However, with my June/06 bank statement, I received a cancelled cheque that was cashed in for this Rebate Starter Kit. Thinking that since it was cashed in, the kit must be delayed but on its way.
Now August 22, 2006, I finally felt uneasy about the whole thing and decided to check directory listing for this business to see if I can find a contact phone no. However, I found out that nothing matched the address and no business under Rebate Processing Dept. Next, I checked the internet and found a canada-complaints.com for this company and so I decided to file a similar report.
