Today I was trying to find some online quotes for moving. I emailed several local companies and got many favorable replies. I am a busy person who works 7am until 8 pm Monday to Friday and I work weekends as well.
I do not have much time to myself or my family so emailing for quotes seemed the fast easy way of getting some quotes and later I could act on them when it was closer to moving time. I found a company online that I had never heard of, and now I know why, and emailed a request for a quote. I received a quick response saying that he has to come to my home to see what I have to give a guaranteed quote, or they can "strictly work on time" as he put it. I emailed him right back and asked politely what his hourly rate was and was told "Good Luck I don't have any time to waste."
How this company expects to get any business is beyond me. I know when it comes time for me to phone and book a move his company will be the last on my list.
How can he expect to get any business if he cant be bothered "wasting his time" to tell potential customers what his prices are?
Ottawa, dont waste your time contacting Loutur Moving and Storage for a quote.
