My husband and I had a chocolate lab and wanted to get her trained. So we had Doug come over to meet her and everything went well. We signed a contract and paid him for the sessions and prong collar. He must have come three times and then our dog died. We figured it was heart failure. She was one yr. old.
So when Doug came for the next session he cried his eyes out over the loss of our dog. He still wanted us to come to his BBQ where he gives out trophies. He put on a police show for us, lots of people and their trained dogs. So he had said to us that when we get another dog to call him and he would start over at no extra charge.
I did my homework on buying a dog and bought a beautiful german shepherd. Doug came to meet him and then the training started. Only two sessions. Then never returned. Tried calling him and left messages, tried e-mailing him and never got no response. I was very mad at the fact that he took our money and my dog is not trained. This man needs to be stopped from ripping people off. We work hard for our money. I have seen him a couple times in Port Perry walking into the liquor store. Mabe we are supporting his habit.
