Bought a diamond, blue topaz, and amethyst pendant for my girlfriend for valentines day. The list price was $590, I got a special for $300, ended up talking them down to $250.
The salesperson made me think I got a great deal, based on the special, and additional haggling. The pendant was in fact worth a lot less.
This sales practice is in fact illegal.

When I found out I got ripped off, I went back requesting a refund (day before valentines day). I argued with the guy for about an hour, with the above article in hand. He refused to give me a refund.
I hope someone shuts them down. They should not be allowed to operate a business that way.
