Signed a Contract to do construction work and painting for my Condo with an approximate time limit of 3 weeks. He did not spend more than a total amount of man work hours equal to 4 days of work in total. Some of his days ended around 1PM after his lunch hour was taken. He took a substantial downpayment of $5000.00 and yesterday informed me he would not complete the job at all. I am a senior on a very tight budjet and have had a heart attack amongst other things. I cannot afford to lose these funds as he left my place in a total mess without the use of one bathroom which he pulled out and left completely gutted. I must find someone to finish all the work here as I can't live this way and need my funds to proceed. He even pushed me to order bathroom fixtures for him to install. So far I ordered the bidet and have the new toilet also sitting in my living room. The bathroom he gutted and left was for my own personal use and needed as the Red Cross comes in to help me physically every week.
