Signature Vacations
Ripped off by Signature Vacations - Trip from Hell

After many months of research we decided to book El Dorado Seaside Suites (Karima) in the Mayan through Signature Vacations. When we landed in Cancun, ready to board the bus to go to our resort we were told that the resort we had booked was overbooked and that we were being sent to the sister resort El Dorado Royale, one hour away from the resort we booked and a resort we had not even researched. We had not choice to go to this resort as we were provided with no other options. The Signature rep at the resort kept lying to us and misleading us with information saying we would go to the resort we booked in a day or two, and that this was just temporary. The resort we ended up at was the complete opposite of what we wanted. It was not a small, intimateresort with a swimmable resort and a coral reef off the beach. On the way home the flight was 60 meals short because of another computer error so we had to give up one of our meals and then the plane underestimated the head winds and did not have enough gas to safely land in Calgary so we landed in Lethbridge. When we contacted Signature Vacations they told us too bad not our fault read the small print. They, David Wright, customer correspondence, offered us each a $150 gift certificate to us with them. As if we are ever going to book with them again. We continuted to complain and the upt the gift certificate to $200 each. This was not acceptable. What they did is not right, waiting until we landed in Mexico to tell us about the overbooking. How did they not know in advance? You think they would do what is right and take care of there customers and make sure we are sastified and that seems to be the furthest from their minds. They do not care about the customer, just their buttom line.
