I signed up my daughter at Kids-for-Hire sometime in August 2005 and paid 149.95 for one year listing on their website. Here is what the website states I was supposed to receive for that money:

They sent me an e-mail telling me to send in photos of my daughter, but nobody called me ever. I thought, OK, that's not a big deal, we can do it by e-mail instead. I e-mailed the pictures and after more than a week was informed that my daughters digital compard is ready. When I checked, it was quite mediocre and needed further improvement. I sent in my comments and very specific instructions on what needs to be changed. They didn't follow the instructions and after they did changes at their own will the second version was even worse than the first one.
After I told them that I am still not satisfied with this compcard, they told me that they don't see anything wrong with it and they are not going to change it anymore.
Then I asked for a refund according to their Satisfaction Guarantee policy. At first, they didn't give me a hassle about it and told me that my request will be forwarded to the billing department and I should receive a refund soon.
I waited and waited and waited and finally contacted them again. This time I was told that they ARE NOT going to issue me a refund because they've already spent on me more money then I paid! Yeh, right!
I tried to complain and appeal to the president of the company Dan St. Pierre, but he even didn't bother to respond to my complaint.
As of now, I still dind't received a refund, no calls and no service from Kids-for-Hire, when supposedly the package included 1 hour a month phone consultation and monthly picture updates.
Anyway, you can understand my frustration. DON'T be deceived by them claiming to be a Christian company. "You will know the tree by the fruit", and their fruits are testifying against them.
DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE! And warn others about them!
