Bouncing Cheques Double Billing Competitors Avoiding Calls and Emails Failure to Pay Venues = NO INTEGRITY

As someone who worked with FAME Media Group I, not only had an inside look into what they did to some of their competitors, but also fell victim to the business practices of this company.

At this point it has become imperative that this company is exposed for the lack of ethics and integrity they have shown over the last 10 years. Even though they have not paid suppliers, bounced cheques to contest winners and failed to pay employees, they continue to perpetuate that they are growing and are offering bigger prizes than ever. The cycle needs to stop and this company must be exposed so that competitors can make an informed decision as to where they would like to compete.

Hi There

I have included a short list of the many complaints I came across working with FAME. Only first names are used since some people may not want their whole name used. I maintain records of all of these claims and am willing to work with attorneys who also have claims against this company:

I am a competitor from FAME Toronto 2005. My name is Stacy (#467) and I was in Fitness Model Advanced division. I tied for 11th with 2 or 3 other girls with exactly the same score down to the hundredth of a decimal point. I paid for a judges report as well as photos taken by Gordon J. Smith and Michael Palmer. I have never received a judges report and was emailed by Mr. Palmer requesting I not put my images online or use them for professional purposes since he wasn't paid by
WNSO. I have yet to receive an email from him telling me otherwise, so my pictures remain unused
on the disc out of respect for his work.

I would like my judges report - over a year later - simply to see where I can improve my physique/
stage presence/wardrobe choices. I'm not a pro and don't have the desire to become a pro.
However, the notes on the report would be helpful, even at this late date.

I have emailed WNSO and called multiple times. I don't know if it is the intention to wear down
competitors by putting people off, but you won with me. I'm disappointed in the organization. Even
though I enjoyed my time in Toronto with the contest, I'll not be coming back and will tell others in my
shoes to do the same. Perhaps treating the athletes - ALL ATHLETES, not just the pros - well from
beginning to end would benefit your organization. It is reprehensible that it took a bunch of posters
on a magazine forum to bring this to light.

I'm interested to see what kind of report you can generate one year later - especially since I was not in
the top 10.

An extremely unhappy former competitor,

To Whom It May Concern:

I competed at the FAME show held in Cleveland, Ohio on May 6, 2006. I turned in money for the DFSA pledge program and I still haven't received any
notification on how I can become reimbursed for my entry fees, travel costs, hotel rooms, etc. I believe I had raised more than $200 so that would make me eligible to have the money converted to cover those costs for me. I'd appreciate it if you could check on that for me.

Thanks,
Shelly

To Whom It May Concern:

I competed in the FAME event here on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo in May and just wanted to let you know that I ordered the DVD for the FAME show in Toronto. I've paid for the DVD however, I've still not received it. I gave out my credit card to your offices in May and am still waiting for what I have paid for (I paid for the entry fees for the competition and the DVD at the same time if this helps).

Hello,
I was just wondering if you could check, I think you charged me 4 times for 2 events. if it is possible can you look into this. the numbers are for registration:1413, 1413, 1282, and 478. I was charged twice for FAME 2006, and twice for Mayhem.

Thanks alot
Kathy

It has come to my attention that your cheque #***, dated Sept. 12/06 in the amount of $***.** was returned as a result of a "stop payment". I would appreciate a response to the above matter by October 27, at
which point we will have no other choice but to send this matter to our
collection agency.

Sincerely,
Susan

To Whom It May Cncern
I have sent several emails concerning getting my money back for the pre paid photos and I have not heard back yet.

Joe

For the sake of brevity, these are all I have included, but I hope that this allows competitors to see the kind of organization they are giving their money to when they enter their shows. The industry is finally starting to look down on this organization and it's about time they reap what they have sewn.
