I received a check through the mail for $4, 985.00. The name at the top of the check is Scanam Transport (USA), Inc. It was a check that appears to be real. It was from this company in Canada. I had to call Kerry James to begin the claim process. He asked for the claim #. He didn't asked for my social security number or bank account number. In the letter it said that I won a lottery and my winnings was $125, 000. And my tax amount to be paid out was $3985. I would like to warn anyone that get this check that it is a fraudelent check. The check has wachovia bank name on it. Keep yourself out of any trouble and let this scam pass you by.
This company is a rip off and the checks are coming from other companies that will prosecute you. If you get one of these fraudelent letters or check please notify your bank to keep yourself out of trouble.
