Looks like the crooks and thieves at Premier Random Lotto are at it again! I received a check in the mail today here in North Carolina, USA for $2992.45 to finance International Clearance Fees on my $130, 000.00 lottery winnings. Yeah, right! Biggest bunch of crap I ever heard--so I researched them on the web and found out that it IS a SCAM, and did NOT cash the check!
I did however, learn that the bank the check is written on has had several incidents of forgery happen on their checks before. And it looks as though the crooks have learned from their prior mistakes and improved the quality of the "checks" they send out now! The bank DOES exist, as does the Company whose name appears on the check! However, I am sure that the account number on the check is incorrect, (if the organization even has an account with that bank!)
