My wife was getting lot of calls from the above named individual for selling magic jack device to reduce phone bills. He followed up for weeks and I also spoke to him where he explained that I can make international calls to any one country of my chice beside free calling to US and Canada that he can include in my package. I selelcted one country of my choice and he told me that total is 160 Candadian Dollars. He also did not ask for any credit card or account information and instead recorded the order over the phone for confirmation purposes. I got a call from Canada Post that I have a package from the company for which I have to pay 160 dollars cash to pick it up. I paid the amount and found that the package had web address of www.magictechdevices.com on it for customer support. When I visited the website it had no live phone number on it and instead had sales and customer support email address. When I plugged in my device it started working but had all the US telephone numbers to select from which I did finally as I had no option to try this device out. The above named person who was calling had given us a phone # 603-326-4250 which now I believe is also magic jack device generated number as calling on this number did not get any response.
Not getting any reply I came to know that I have been rip off with 160 dollars against a device which is availble in Canada for 39.99 tax and S/H a total of 56 dollars value.
