This letter came to me today saying that on July 25, 2008 my name came up on this lottery ticket. I had won 68 k usd. enclosed with the letter was a check from Cumberland Bank in Franklin Tennessee. I was to use that check to pay for the processing of these funds. For all intense purposes, it looked real. The check was on check paper drawn by a real bank. But, what didn't make sense was this: The return address on the letter was British Columbia but the check was drawn on an account that was Williamson County Board of Education, Franklin Tennessee, the telephone number was an Indiana phone number and everything was supposed to be done in the US but the letter was out of the country.
I have checked with the FBI and this is one of many different names this company goes by. Be careful. Read the letter very clearly. I never entered a lottery that wasn't my state lottery so I knew that it was fake. Tear this letter up.
