We had a contract with bell mobility and a month prior to our contract ending, they gave us various calls offering us different promotions, we said "thanks but no thanks we will no longer continue our sevices once our contract ends". Thinking like a normal person would that they got the message, we recently recieved a billing a month after our contract ending that we are to pay them our monthly fee, when calling them up to understand why we were being billed for an extra month after our finished contract, they said "you didn't cancel your contract you only said you weren't going to continue it.".
My next question to them was "why is my bell phone no long being serviced when according to the contract as you claim it is to continue in service? ", there reply to my question was "because you requested FIDO to transfer your cell number over to them.", but that being a lame excuse considering that i told them previously that i no longer wanted there services, on top of that they didn't even call me asking me what new number i would like to have for the next month which i didn't even agree upon! Yet BELL continues to rip off me and every other persons that are under there services or even were under there services.
I can understand if them requiring me to provide a months notice prior to the ending of my contract, but if i fulfill my full contract to the date of its end, then why do i need to call and tell them the contract has ended? Yet they continue to tell me i need to call and cancel my contract and i continue to reply "why do i need to call and inform you on something that has ended.".
How do you cancel something that has ended? In a matter of fact I don't believe its a matter of me letting them know that the contract has ended, because the already know the contract has ended, in all true i believe its just a means of ripping numerous persons off!
They just continue to want to rip us off in there Greedy Quest for money, because when u think of it, one monthly bill may not be a lot of money to them but when they do this to every ended contract the money tends too build to an enormous amount!
