Draws Financial, DFI, Pulisher's Advertising, John Garfield, John Crawford I WON $150, 000.00 AND GOT A CHECK FOR $4, 850.00 TO HELP PAY THE GOVERNMENT TAX

I received a letter today from Draws Financial Inc., 540 Kingston St., Etobicoke, ON. Canada P3X 5N6, saying I was a winner in the second category of Sweepstakes Lottery Draw held 1/10/08, with a check enclosed for the amount of $4, 850.00 deducted from my winnings to assist me in paying for the Non Resident Government Tax - $2, 850.00 to go to Tax Agent, Freda Parker, 112 Parliament Road, Toronto by money gram or Western Union, but not to do anything until contacting John Crawford, my assigned claim agent, at 1-416-822-7901, letter was signed by John Garfield (Promotions Manager).

Check was a Citibank Delaware, One Penns Way, New Castle Delaware, from Publisher's Advertising, Inc., Three center Plaza, Boston MA 02108 - looked real, but the small "c" in Center and Penns without the "'s" gave it away. I couldn't find anything under any of these names, their addresses came up under similar names - Publishers Weekly.

I wondered how these people came up with my name and address - I never enter anything. There must be a "Broke People" list floating around out there somewhere. Well, I may be broke, but I'm not stupid. So, I happened upon this site and sure enough, there were other stories with the same "John Garfield" and the same scam. Hopefully you can do something. GO GET 'EM.
