In late march or early april of this year (2007), I responded to an ad in a local newspaper offering $20, 000 a month income operating a distributorship which sold name brand snacks. I spoke to a mr. Kelly who said if I Invested $30, 000 i would be on my way to making $20, 000 per month. After a few more questions he said i would be operating vending machines at secured locations paid for by the $30, 000. This included free lifetime expansion and a minimum of 15 vends per machine. I would start with ten machines. additional machines would cost $500 each with free placement.
I checked them out with better bus. bur. of that area and they had no complaints. I spoke to Dave Richards, product mgr., who said there were 250 accounts in my county to choose from. I decided to invest.
I made an appointment with Rapheal in Toronto. Trip was paid for, but I HAD to bring $10, 000. They processed my application, I paid the balance and in early May they sent the ten machines by truck. I was expecting someone to contact me for training, it never happened. I CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES trying to schedule a locator for my machines. I finally received a call from locator but he never showed.
In Sept. a locator finally arrived but the locations were not very good within a week seven of the ten demanded i move the machines out. the three remaining are making about $15 per week, not 15 vends per day. I AM PRESENTLY CALLING PAUL PETERSON, but he is not returning my calls.
I feel like this is a classic scam. Everyone tells you what you want to hear, but it never happens. Also i was told by mr. kelly that Canadian snack supply was the no. 2 provider in North america. I WONDER.
