I was scamed by Canadian Snack supply Ltd. out of toronto. One year ago I bought a Five - 9 selection snack machine vending route for $8800 cdn. $3500 of this money was suposedly to incude me in their program, and to have lifetime free location and or re-location of these and other machines, leaving $5000 to buy the five machines. Rip-Off Number 1 . The machines cost $600 a piece delivered to my door! The contract read as follows- Canadian Snack Supply would pay my expences to their office in Toronto where I would meet the company Big -Wigs and be given an in depth overview of products, company and customer relations and discusions on how to grow my business to TOTALLY REDICULOUS 100 machines in 1 year with the revenue from just five machines. To good to be true huh!!! The five machines were to be delivered and set up in locations within a couple of weeks. ( end of October) I was to buy all snack supplys from them at wholesale, delivered to my door free of charge with 30 days to pay. The contract also stated that every 2 months I would meet with the company rep on locations to discuss any problems or re-locate any machines that were not doing a minmum of 15 vends a day. LIES, LIES, LIES. The meeting in Toronto never took pace!!! I was sent a letter cofirming that I was accepted and I would be up and running within a couple of weeks which should have been the end of October 2006. I didn't recieve the machines until a couple of days before Christmas, and the Monarch rep that I could never get ahold of didn't show up until the end of February 2007. The company gave me one accose after another about the holidays and all. This was the only time in one year that they ever returned my phone calls!!! The Monarch rep that I finally met with said here are your locations and by the way we dont deliver any more so you will have to buy your stock locally. (at RIDICULOUS MARK-UP and Fuel Expence) But dont worry you can fax in your stock reciepts for a credit from the company. I 'm still waiting for the "Tooth Ferry" too!! The 5 machines were lucky if they brought in $20-$40 a week combined sales. So much for location choice and real world sales of minimum $525.00 a week.(15x5=$75x7days=$525) Three of the locactions dwindled from $5-$10 a week to nothing, so the customers wanted the machines removed. They have been sitting in my basement not making a penny for over 6 months despite tons of long distance calls and faxes to Company VICE Presidant MR. ROY HAMILTON to have the machines re-located, and to discuss the many breaches of contract, but he has never returned 1 phone call. I cant even sell the route because only 2 of 5 machines have locations.!!! The only reason why I invested in this venture is that I thought they were ligit and offered a real world business opportunity. I will be faxing this report to any and all government agencies that deal with Fraud, false and misleading business practices or any one else that hates being RIPPED OFF!!!
