I attended "The Franchise Show" in Toronto back in January 2005. Walking into the show, an adult entertainmnet website was the last thing on my mind. I walked by there booth, listened to there sales pitch and agreed to attend the presentation being held at a nearby hotel in the evening.
Everything sounded legitimate, and the opportunity sounded very promising. I invested in with good intenetions, and in good faith. I figured that I wasn't going to make the $30, 000/year that they told me I would, but I thought even if I could make $7000/year that it would still be worth it!!
I worked my tail off for a year and made $40. The training with Stephen Burman was a JOKE. All he ever told me was the same shit over and over again. They never quite told me how to make any money, and it seemed that the second I handed my money over, no one really cared.
After the first year of paying the hosting fees and honuring the contract, I requested the re-sale option in January 2006. It has now been two years later, and still nothing. Charles claimed that he sold it, told me the cheque was in the mail, then he told me that the person he sold it to ripped him off, and he couldn't pay me, and that they would continue to market my site.
All I ever seem to get off these guys are the same bulls*** deadend answers!!
Now I have a new guy claiming that he's doing his best to re-sell my site. Same old, same old. The problem is that these sites are so pathetic that no-one would pay $7000 for them.
Global doesn't seem to exist anymore, I can't get a hold of Charles anymore, Stephen Burman tells me that he doesn't know anything. His exact words to me were that "I just worked for them, I don't know anything, I want nothing to do with them, they owe me money to"!! Jeff Freedman doesn't know anything either, No one seems toknow anything. Charles even called the cops on me for leaving him to many messages. WHATEVER!!
Not sure who to believe anymore!! I was hoping for an ethical resolution to this problem, but it seems like they ae just going to continue to feed me the same crap over and over again until I go away. I just don't see myself quiting on this one.
Has anyone beed succeeded in getting the refund? Does anyone have any info about what they're doing, or where they might be?
I don't mind being contacted at all to further discuss this issue with anyone that has been a victim of Global Premiere.
We need to put an end to this. We need to unite and fight!!
