Most issues (the list is long) with Global (Messrs. Debono, Burman, Freedman) deal with alleged fraudulent misrepresentation, even to the point of the President, Charles Debono, representing himself as the hired help and "not a principal" of the company at a sales and marketing presentation in Calgary. I suspect that even the references were bogus. Jeff Freedman informed me in late summer (05) or the fall that he had left Global. Can it be verified that he is still associated with Debobo?
The marketing formula used by Global is not innovative or exclusive to them, as claimed, nor is it specialized and unique, as promoted and stated, verbally and in sales literature. Described by Global as a "turnkey cash generating web site", "investors" paid thousands for a one page website, producing not one dime of revenue, in our case. Hours upon hours were invested, following the marketing training program manual, in an effort to build traffic. Their marketing system, as analyzed by preofessional web developers, uses doorway pages (200 in our case), described by Google as illicit, illegal, insidious, and unethical, to name a few adjectives. They now shut these types of sites down.
My partner and I have been sued by Global for non-payment of maintenance and hosting fees, and are appealing the "Notice of Default Judgment" as handed down by the Barrie Small Claims Court. Makes one wonder about the Court process as we were not even served properly.
As there is now mounting veidence that a fraud has been perpetrated, I would suggest that a class action lawsuit might have merit. If "rippoffreport" does not edit out this suggestion, I would suggest we, as victims, click onto this site on a regular basis, with the idea of announcing the placement of a classified newspaper ad soon (specifying a date) in a national newspaper with a phone number/e-mail address for communication purposes. It should also be worthwhile to file a police report in your respective jurisdictions, alleging the fraud.
