Bell Mobility
Make sure you get the Mobility Plan YOU want Ontario

I recently moved back fron Newfoundland to Nova Scotia and I required a Nova Scotia Phone number for the phone I already have, (that was the start of the problem)

After over two hours on the phone being passed from one place to another I eventually got my new number FOUR days Later..

Before Bell took over Aliant I was extremely happy with the plan and the service, but it seems Bell can change your plan and charges without your permission. A month or so into the Nova Scotia service I noticed the charge was fairly high for such light usage. I enquired as to why this was and found I had been signed up for additional services I didn't ask for that totalled $20 per month (call forwarding, Call waiting, Caller ID etc. etc. So I got this removed from the plan and thought that was an end to it... (Wrong)

I called Bell to have the Cell phone bill incororated into my Aliant High speed Package as it had always been previously, no problem I was told this will be done.

Then last month I viewed the bill online only to find out I was paying 0.35 cents for every call I made, I then noticed my plan had changed to a plan called "Talkmore 36M" I didn't have a clue what this was so I called Bell yet again to ask about "Talkmore 36M" and why I'm paying for all calls I make?

I was asked "How many cell phones do you have" I replied one why? I was told "the plan you are on is for people with multiple cell phones" I said I've only ever had one phone so how did my plan get changed? "I don't know" was the answer "but we can put that right for you now" Fine said I do it.

On who's authority was it changed to Talkmore 36M I asked? "I don't know" was the reply... and what about these calls I've been charged for then I asked? "we can refund those for you now sir" they said.

My problem has now been resolved, but how many others have been charged for extra's or plan changes they did not request? It seems to me with the switch from Aliant to Bell a lot of this will go un-noticed and make Bell lots of extra profit.

Luckily I don't use my cell phone very often So I never get a very high bill, so of course when I do it shows up. This isn't the case for everyone of course, So the Moral of the story is keep an eye on your bill and make sure you're getting the PLAN and SERVICE you asked for...
