Somehow having company doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy about being ripped off by these people. My story is the same - answered the ad, got the package (thought projections were high but that I could live with discounted numbers), had the interview with Rafael, waited for machines, played phone tag with Carl, finally set up machines, told to use local wholesaler and invoice them monthly, sales extremely poor.
End of October, I sent a registered letter outlining chronology and requesting refund - no response. Interestingly, I called the company to get address to send letter and requested name of company president. Receptionist told me to send to Sheppard Ave. address but would not divulge name and put me on hold for my pal Carl. Letter was delivered but of course there has been no response.
I have been very depressed as I used my RRSP funds for the $30, 000 and withdrew additional funds to survive on. I feel sooooo STUPID but that doesn't mean it is ok for them to steal my money.
