Stratford Career Institute is affliliated with/member of the District of Columbia Education Licensure Commision. They [Stratford] have an Agents License which means they can basically set up an office and use it to answer calls, send books and other correspondence.
Please go to www.seo.dc.gov and file a complaint. when you get to the website, go to Programs click Education Licensure; go Resources and Information and click Complain Form. If the agency gets enough valid complaints they can, after investigation, revoke their license.
Stratford customer service is quick to point out that they are not accredited and make no promises. They may not be accredited but they do say and I quote, "A distance education course from Stratford Career Institute is an investment in your future - an investment that can pay off exponentially in terms of salary, career advancement and job satisfaction. Our highly respected career training programs blend the flexibility of distance learning with comprehensive curriculums developed by field professionals."
