I have archived emails of correspondance going between Shaun and I. I have proof that I submitted payment via moneygram. I have evidence of a "tracking number" Shaun provided to me which was not a valid number - even verified with Fedex.

Crime Description: I was looking on craigslist.org under the New York tickets section for Yankees vs Bluejays tickets at Yankee Stadium. Shaun had posted a listing on the site for tickets and was selling them for 150 dollars or best offer. I emailed him and offered him 100 dollars. He replied back and stated that would be fine. He offered a few different methods of payment (westernunion, moneygram and cash to his address). He provided an address and telephone number to me (which I called and it is a working voicemail). I chose moneygram and sent him the payment with same day service.
A few days later I didn't get any response from him and continued to email him asking what the status was. FINALLY he replies back (after I request a tracking number for the umpteenth time) and says he shipped the tickets via fedex and provided me with a "tracking number". Lo and behold the tracking number was a fake. I did a google search for him online and see many postings from people being scammed like me. I never received the tickets of course. He already picked up the money from a moneygram location so I could not cancel it. I sent him a note requesting money be sent back to me of course no response. He is notorious for this and has done this on craigslist and myspace NUMEROUS times. He must be stopped.
WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM SHAUN NIXON - HE TARGETS PEOPLE ON CRAIGSLIST.ORG AND MYSPACE.COM and has at least 4 different addresses that he uses for payment which I'm aware of!!!

In order to catch Shaun, we need as many official police reports filed as possible. I filed mine here is the procedure. It should take about a half hour of your time. Nothing can be done without your contributions to his file... they need to build a case.
1) Go to your local police station and file an official fraud report
2) State on the report whether or not you would be willing to testify in court.
3) Have the police mail the report and your evidence (correspondence to&from him / proof of your payment etc) to:
