I bought a BBQ Grillware grill 3 years ago. The burners are warrentied for 10 years. The grill has never been exposed the the weather, yet they are rusted out. After a nightmare of trying to trackdown the company and getting someone to talk to me, I was advised my warrenty is not valid. I must provide proof of purchase in order to obtain burners under the warrenty. They will sell them to me, but not replace them for free.
I registered the grill when I bought it, and I have the manufacture date code. The grill has not been manufactured for 10 years, and with the seriel number they know when the grill was made.
I don't understand why I must prove when I bought it to get the burners replaced. Lowes has tried to help me, but has quit doing buisness with this firm because of the high number of complaints.
