My experience was fairly simple. I placed an order for (4)specialty florescent grow light bulbs. The bulbs consist of two sets of two, as per the recommendation of the sales person at the company. One of the four bulbs arrived broken. I took pictures of the broken bulb as directed by the shipper "Alex". Two days later, "Alex" called and said that the he could not ship a replacement bulb because they had to get a refund from UPS, and that was a lot of trouble. Obviously, "Alex"'s excuse doesn't make sense.
Basically, Homegrown Hydroponics got some of my money and they are satisfied with that. I suspect that this company sells mostly to individuals who are involved with growing marijauna, so they expect their customers to keep mum and take homegrown hydroponics Inc's abuse. Homegrown Hydroponics has offered to remove the price of the broken bulb from my bill, but has not done so at this time. Meanwhile, they are not willing to send another bulb to complete the order. Nor, will they pay the shipping costs to return the unfilled order.
Basically, this company doesn't give a crap about customer service and operates with a "take the money and run" policy. My hope is filing this complaint is that others will be warned in advance about Homegrown Hydroponics shady business practices.
