Spring Masters has got to be the worst company which provides a lawn care service that I've known or experience in all my years of owning a home.
A salesperson came to my home just at the time when I was about to make a call to one of the other competitors and based on our discussion I decided to have them take care of my lawn for everything. I sent a lot of money in doing so. Over the course of weeks the lawn wasn't taking to the seeding which had absolutely nothing to do with my end, as I used top grade soil to help the seed germinate and watered the lawn per Spring Masters instructions. They came back and lawn was extremely bare in many places.
They over seeded and assured me that the blue Kentucky grass (the rich green grass) would germinate in 2-3 weeks. That never happened. What did happened was m lawn being overrun with more weeds than I've ever seen since I and my wife owned this home. This should have been my most serious problem with Service Master but, what turned out to be worst were the lies upon lies. I called on a regular basis to speak to a manager and when I did receive the odd follow-up call I was told a manger would either call or be in my area in a week to attend which absurd. Most other competitors are available within a day or 2. As the lawn season is very short and a week is a long time. It’s been well over a month an no one yet to attend to address my concerns.
To add insult to this whole mess, I even had them seal my driveway and when I spoke to the employees about having a manager attend after their next job was done, they promised and assured me a manager would attend. When the job was done, a manager, who was driving one of Service Masters truck to pick up the employees, drove right past our house.
To use them or think about using you may experience the same level of frustration. Since everyone’s time is valuable a homeowner doesn’t have the time to dealing with companies in the way that I am now. You expect to pay for a service and for the most part, let them do their job. That was and has been so far from what happened.
The company is so poorly managed that I'd never ever recommend and WARN homeowners never to use the Services of Spring Masters as they are not reliable and are incompetent.
