First off I've never heard of DHL but I was told its a reputable shipping company in the states. I ordered a pair of coach shoes on the 13th of August. I got a call saying the driver attempted to drop off my package on the 19th. I called DHL and they told me that it'll be back out and I'll get it the next day. Well the guy never showed so I called back again. They basically told me the same thing as before. It'll be dropped off the next day. Still nothing. I've probably 4 times (going on 5) so far asking about my delivery and whats going on. I'm leaving to go to Fiji for 4 weeks on the 18th so I called yet again this morning the ask why it still hasn't been delievered after I've been told countless times that the driver has it and will deliver it that day. I was promised that it would be delievered today (the 16th). Thats the only day I'll be home to sign for the thing. I waited all day and nothing. I called and the lady said that the driver has it with him and will deliver it after 6pm. She sent him a message or something along those lines. Again, no guy, no package. Tomorrow the 17th is my last day here and I'll be home until 1pm. So now I have to call back in the morning yet again and either ask for them to put a priority mark on it and make sure the guy is at my house before 1pm. I'll give him until 1 and if he doesn't come then I have to go pick it up from wherever it is. Either that or I have to cancel my order and they can ship my package back to where it came from.
I've learned my lesson about things that I've never heard of before. The drivers SUCK, the telephone people aren't that good at handling these types of situation, even though some situations are hard for them to do anything the least they could do is make you feel like you're a valued customer and would try their best to get your package to you by any means. The added stress wasn't need and I'll probably never ever use DHL again or even let any of my friends use them. I'm sticking with Canada Post next time for sure! No wonder DHL isn't that big in Canada
