I purchased a vehicle privately and with it came a contract with Premier Dealer Services which is based in San Diego California... Firstly, none of the numbers on the contract were getting responses but a taped message assured me my call was important and that agents were busy with other customers. The most disturbing was that the 877 number was for roadside assistance and had I needed it, say in the middle of winter, I might have froze before anyone answered... On three different occasions I could not get a human on the phone...
I finally after being bounced around, got customer service in San Diego and they denied any problems with the service..I had a problem with the car in Halifax and took it to the Ford dealership only to be told that they do not deal with Premier and that I would have to find a place that did... talk about an extracurricular activity while I'm traveling, on vacation, across the country...
In order to get service, you have to show that all your service records are perfect and in general that if your i's are not dotted and your t's not crossed that you can whistle before you benefit from this sham. You are better off paying for a CAA membership and saving the 1600.00 that is the cost of this contract and pay for your own repairs, especially since my vehicle still has the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty for five years or 100k..
