No seats

I pay a premium for my aerogold card which collects aeroplan miles. but when i try to use these miles they tell me there are no seats. i'm booking in july 2012 for a vacation in mexico jan 2013. the agent has the audacity to say to me i need to book 11 months in advance. this is an absolute joke and something needs to be done about this aeroplan disservice
