Move canada Van Lines LTD
Very Bad experience

You should avoid Movecanada van lines ltd (movecanada.com) for the reason that this is just another one unfair company. I had the following bad experience with them:

First quote I've got included lots of stuff like free 2 month storage And free re-delivery. Gus, the mover and the owner of the company didn't send the moving contract sample till the last dates when it was late to change the company. When I finally got it, it haven't had important positions like door to door, estimated departure/arrival (some people had bad experience with departure dates delayed for month).

Gas didn't include the back side with fineprint. When I tryed to include portant positions I found that quote I have is not valid any more, free storage and re-delivery were not included any more, price is different from the one from recent quote, and when I've tryed to make contract in comply with quotes I've been offered to search another company (in 1 day till load date and my departure is hard to find somebody for such distance). I decided to take some risks.

There almost were no issues with loading, except that furniture i had to disassemble by myself in a rush but it supposed to be done by mover after inspection. This is the root of future problems - lots of fixture parts and small parts have been lost in trailer.

When everything have been loaded and contract have been signed I've been asked for some deposit (which haven't been agreed in advance). I was lucky to have spare cash.

Gus shifted several times the departure date but it's ok if you are not in a hurry to get your stuff back quickly.

When his truck was near destination he started negotiating regarding additinal cost for residence property delivery (warehaouse was destination according to contract but verbally agreed to deliver to any oher address in destination area for free if destination permits semi trailer maneuvering. My place had all the possibilities, but Gus asked for additional 800$ for it (additional 25%). After some time I convinced him that if he won't be able to fit with truck I would pay extra. Upon arrival he told he wouldn't need extra money if i would HELP HIM unload because there were EIGHT STEPS or ELEVATOR "complications". I had no time for arguing, and agreed to "help" in unload. In result most of the stuff ~60% have been unloaded by myself. Gus was having a rest or smoke somewhere for 40-60 mins. After everything have been unloaded and i've checked quickly for quantity he has been released, but later on next day i realised that some fittings and parts from furniture were missing. As they didn't pay attention when loading on how to load boxes some of them containing liquid leaked out. Since then Gus didn't try to resolve those furniture problems although he have been informed by email and phone. He has got extra payment for insurance but this didnt help because he is too greedy to give something away once received. He even dropped phone call on me when heard about complaints.

Once again you better avoid this company if you don't want to pay huge extra upon delivery and to visit furniture stores and home renovation stores in search of lost hardware. Hope this will help somebody in their choice of moving company.
