Ripoff promised to send credit card to which fees would be charged

I was contacted by a person calling himself Craig Goodwin. Craig said that I had been approved for a $2000.00 credit card. There would be no fees or interest charged for the first six months, and then only 9% on purchases. I was to recieve the card on July 29, 2002 and then I could charge the $199.00 fee to the card or pay it by check. On 8/2/2002 they tried to send through a draft
for $199.00 to my checking account.

I was charged a $25.00 fee by my Credit Union. I have contacted the Credit Union to tell them not to cash the instrument if it is re-presented. I would like to join a class action suit against these people if anyone is interested. I can be reached at 1-866-864-0750.
