I got a call today from Prime One saying they would give me a Mastercard with a 1000.00 limit and all I had to do was pay a 217.00 processing fee. They said this was a one time only fee and had a 9.9% interest rate. I looked up on the internet after I stupidly gave them my bank account number and found they are frauds.
I freaked out immediatly and called them back and said I wanted to cancel. He asked me why and I told him because of the negative things I saw on the internet. He assured me that if I looked up myself on the internet I could probably find some bad things that weren't true and that they were in the process of getting the stuff off the internet. I told him I wanted it cancelled and did not want the 217.00 coming out of my bank account. He said it was cancelled and no fee would come out.
I then called my bank and she told me my only option was to close my account and get another one. I can't do this due to payments and checks being out on my account. I'm scared to death they will take this money out. I only agreed and did the stupid thing of giving out my account number because I'm hurting financially and thought the 1000.00 credit card could help tide me over with my son's medical bills. Now, I may lose at least another 217.00 on absolutlely nothing. I can only hope that it is indeed cancelled, but I will be very nervous until March 9th.
