This fanmily owned fruit stand makes several claims that are FLAT OUT LIES.
They claim to offer you farm fresh fruit grown on their farm. however all the fruit sold at the log barn fruit stand is collected by growers everywhere but there. these suppliers are promised to be paid for their fruit after it is sold, (They are promised a commission from sales) if the fruit does not spoil they will be paid. Several complaints have been launched regaurding not being paid by Fred and Iris and Kimberly who run this crooked operation.
All of the sauces that say log barn on them and claim to be home made are lies these products are bought at the bulk food outlets in vernon and repackaged by the log barn as authentic home made.
all the gifts you see there for sale are all bought by them in the off season at places like san fransico, as well as liquidation world and sold to all the unsusspecting tour bus visitors and out of town folks who have no idea of this scam, the items are marked up as much as 80 % of it's actual cost... this is outragious!
all of the native art that is sold there also works on a commission basis and i personally know 6 natives that were promised payment only to be told that their items were stolen in break ins at the barn and were never paid for their crafts.
the history that the web site talks of is a complete lie as well.. this family started out selling corn cobs on their farm and erected a barn to steakl your money from you and decieve you with their babble about being a religious family.
this family has a history of sexual abuse as well as animal abuse violence and a lenghthy criminal past . three of the 4 children have had numerious encounters with the law including wepons charges, armed standoffs and possesion of cocaine and marijuana right on that very soil that they are claiming to be sacred grounds... with two divorces and several court battles these people are anything but church goers.
I will attach some public notices that are availible to anyone one the internet to give you a tiny peak into the real family run fruit stand.
next time you stop in check out what i am informing you of now. ask mr Alfred Isaac or Iris Isaac or daughter Kimberly about their haritage and life of crime and fraud?
Nothing is what it seems at the log barn fruit stand... where there history is kept neatly under the rug and their hands are always willing to hold you wallet.
Please contact the okanagan helth board and file your complaints when you realize that all of what i am posting is nothing but the truth... Lets keep our communities honest.
PS the church that they have been booted out of several time is also very disapointed with the Isaacs as well. THESE PEOPLE ARE CLAIMING TO BE MENONITES
