We were told we WON a trip. My husband asked if this was for real the man said yes. The man asked if we had been on a cruise before, My husband said no because we were alway poor and could never afford one. The man said " good this is going to someone who really desrves it! " I don't know how these people sleep at night.
my husband gave the credit card # and we were charged $299. I called the company back the next morning and demanded a refund. They were only going to give me $200 back because $99 was sent to outside vendors that was un recievable. I told her visa fraud would be in touch for the remiander of the money and she hung up on me.
Not even 5 minutes after she hung up she called back and told me she would refund the full amount. That it would take 7-10 business days for it to show up.
Wow they did refund us but as of today the charged $282 to our visa through Ramada Plaza resorts. We did not authorize this, we had cancelled the package and informed them that no other fees to be taken off our card.
We tried doing what we did at the begining and the superviser put us on hold and hang up along with 2 other empolees. When I called the first time this morning I told the woman I want a Refund and that this company had scammed us she yelled back "YES we did scam you" And continued to yell. I will admit I raised my voice but I was nothing like this woman continued to go on like. I had to hang up on her she was being completely unruly and extremely rude. This is a 51 year old woman as well, because I called her sweetie and she responded with her age and that she was not a sweetie.
where I was raised Hon, Honey or sweetie is just the way we talk when having a conversion with other people. I could have called her something else matbe she would have been happier with that.
