Imperial Majesty Cruise
Imperial Majesty is a FRAUD! The 7-day cruise DOES NOT cost $299!!

Imperial Majesty called me today... the guy told me I had filled out a form at a restaurant in toronto recently (which I probably might have) and I just won a week long cruise to florida and ft. lauderdale and the bahamas... he said me and 1 more person could go whenever we like and they would pay 80% of the trip. When I asked why they were giving me a free trip they said it was so I could tell others how much I enjoyed it in prospects of increasing their business.

They sounded very believable... he gave me a very detailed picture of what my trip would consist of and he also threw in an after-vacation of some sort... he tried to act all charming and started talking to me about how he's been to toronto (my home city) and he really liked it and he mentioned paris and how the mona lisa is so small in reality... he was trying to be very friendly... and then he tells me all i have to do is pay $299 per person (which doesn't seem like alot when he tells me the trip's value is $2500) and slowly he added in how their were several sort of other small charges (he also told me if i took someone older than 25 some of those charges wouldn't apply)

To make it more believable when i asked him if this was a scam he said no it can't be because in order for us to put our ballots in restaurants we need a permit from Ontario because otherwise we risk getting sued. He also said they are located in New York which is another reason it isn't a scam because most scams come out of Manhattan, etc (like honestly... isn't it the same thing: S)

And then he made it sound all great and how I would recieve my tickets within 14 days through mail and he knew my address and postal code and all and all I'd have to do is tell them 60 days before I CHOOSE to depart... he started talking about how the cruise is the size of two football fields and all lovely and what not... I'd also get a dvd and then I'm like okk... but then he told me how I could only pay the $299 through visa... because they need it in American and so money order, etc wouldn't work...

So I thought ok fine if i have the tickets we'll see and just before hanging up he says "So if I could get the expiration date on your visa card now" and I'm like but aren't you gonna send me the package first and he's like no that comes after... so i knew it was a SCAM! and i lied and said I didn't have my visa card on me so he gave me a (212) number to call and told me how according to their company policy they cannot call anyone back so I'd have to call him...

I researched quite a bit and this is how I think it works... you're told its $299 but they add so many more charges to it and by the time you're deep into it you figure you can't do anything else... you either not pay the rest of the charges and lose all your money or keep paying more and atleast go on that trip... I think the trip DOES EXIST BUT IT ISN'T A GOOD DEAL AT ALL... i've read reviews on how it figures to be as expensive if not more than a regular real cruise you'd book online or whatever... plus the cruise sucks... I read this one review on how the lady found insects in her bed in her room on the cruise... and the food service was terrible not to mention constant alarms early in the morning...

so... SAVE YOURSELVES... NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER NO MATTER WHAT (he told me how they have voice recordings etc but these people know how to work through them)... DO RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING AND THINK ABOUT IT... WHY SHOULD YOU PAY FOR A GIFT? IT'S STUPID.
