Should i pay my Fido bill?

Should i pay for my Fido bill?? my story start when i use instance message without knowing it would charged from Febuary. at the march 4 i didnt recieved any bill form Fido yet. i was so busy to check it out and then i receive my invoice on april. telling me that i have 740 dollar to pay for 2 months because of that instance message is charged! i was calling for Fido and complain for long period of time and then they said they would take 50% off form my seccond bill if i pay the first bill. now i did pay the first bill (269 dollars) but then they still not take 50% off for my seccond bill! should i not pay the company? this is so suck! i was keeping my promised and they didnt

im a new imigrant so i dont know if i just dont pay and leave Fido. is that going to make my credit wrose for apply for any goverment help? we are applying for BC housing now.
