Primus switch aeroplan points visa customers
Primus WORST customer service eve

Target marketing for VISA customers, switch your landline with PRIMUS and we'll give you 15750 points. WOW great promotion, I was with shaw, primus told me I could not switch from them, needed to be telus first, so I switch, points are great, I get to keep my home number and the long distance plan superb... a great deal! NOT... After switching with telus, which I had to stay with for a month, I called PRIMUS to switch, guy says no problem, and then all hell broke loose!

While trying to transfer me over they realised my number could not be transferred, so they decided to give me a new number, without advising of course, I have no calls coming in for 4 days, the new number given to me was a fax number!!! I call primus, 3 times 3 different agents who don't seem to know how to refer my problem to their technical dpt. finally get a supervisor, who told me that they are working on the problem and will get back to me, meanwhile my phone starts working again I figure great they've fixed it, but no I am back with telus! I pray at this point that all the long distance calls I've been making are on a plan because if they are not, then I'm going to have to deal with explaining how PRIMUS messed up so horribly! I get a callback from the Supervisor who explains that the company who transfers the phone numbers from point a to point b could not transfer my number, and in order to get all the great deals that were offered to me I needed to change my number, which is attached to my business account... I request some type of compensation, points that is and we'll call it quits, they were not budging, nothing will be given out unless I get a new phone number with them. I finally decide I've enough of this and just let it go..I get a call from the technical department who does the transfers he say 'Mam, I'm calling to let you know we are going to be transferring your home number to primus now, I don't understand, transfer my number sir, but PRIMUS has told me this can't be done??? the technician comes back and says' Sorry Mam, I forgot to read the notes... There you go... customer service at its best!
