On June 19th my hunting party left For Messines Canada in the Province of Quebec. Our destination was the Bear Lodge Owned and Operated By Gill Galipeau. Upon arrival the ammenities in rustic cabin was not as expected. As shower did not work, natural spring had dried up, and no boats for lakes to fish. The outfitter also encouraged us to fish without license as the "WARDEN DOESNT COME TO MY BACK LAKE"
After informing the guide we needed license to fish he raised the overall price by 400.00. Claiming a law change on price of bear tags, fishing license, and new taxes. I have email from 8 days before showing what we owed. He refused to cooperate so we packed up and headed back to states losing out on deposit plus gas and hotel stay for trip. This man gives good outfitters a very bad name.
