Rejecting to board

On 22nd of December, I had a flight with Emirate Airline from Eman khomeyni Airport, Tehran to Mahe International Airport, Seychelles which I was rejected rudely to board on the half way of my trip and surprisingly in Emirate mother terminal and on the gate even by having boarding card on my hand and being on time. It was a connecting flight but on gate I was told that the flight was completely booked. While I booked and paid fully my place on that flight early on October 2010.

That moment I got shocked and asked the attendant lady why I couldn't board the plane and she with indifferent behavior and unwillingness to help, replied that I should back to the check in counter. On checking counter I was advised to come back to gate and insist on boarding the plane. I did but I had the same answer. finally I asked to see the supervisor while he also replied that he couldn't do anything but reserving me for another flight. There I couldn't stop myself by imagining that I was losing all the things and payment that I managed in advance for my new year holiday. He felt sorry for me and he added there is a compensation for these type of Emirates mistakes which is a free ticket with the same price. The next flight that I could find a place to go to my destination was almost 2 days later. They managed me a visa then and sent me to a low class hotel which I have never been in any of them before. The hotel even didn’t had the least facility for a guest like tooth paste, Shampoo and…. I had to buy basic facility for my compulsory stay. The next morning I asked the Emirate attendants to change my hotel as I can't bear to stay on that hotel as I should be in one of the best hotels in Seychelles instead. They changed the hotel but again surprisingly while checking out of that hotel I received a bill for my food that I ate on the hotel's restaurant. There they explain that I should use an special restaurant with a decided amount of money for food that it was 70 AED equal to 18 $. With this amount of money in my country we can buy a sandwich only.

Any how, I continue my way to Seychelles after 2 days and when I came back home, I went to Emirate airline for checking the free ticket but they told me that it was only for one way trip to Seychelles was and if I want to change the route they will took 200$ from its price for compensation. You can imagine by losing that amount the ticket would be nothing but a joke. So I wrote to Emirate office but they politely reject my plea and called me NO-Shows Passenger!!! An easy way to put me down and Here is their Reply: You may contact your travel insurers who may be able to assist you with your claim. Do you understand what their mean is? I booked everything myself and who the hell is my travel insurers!!!

I would never try Emirates Airline again.
