They called my mother, who is in her 80s and has never used their services, claiming that it is now "the law" to have your ducts checked every year and they would come and do a free inspection to help her avoid a "fine." Of course, the city confirmed that there is no such law. They did not ask if she wanted an inspection, but simply told her they would be by her house before 11 to do it. Thankfully, she called my brother who instructed them never to call her or visit her house. I can only imagine what they might have "found" upon such an inspection and what product or service they would have tried to sell her.
