I had signed up for a 7-day trial for a service called "Web-Detective." Upon doing my first search using the "Web-Detective" it came up with absolutely NO INFORMATION... when I know for a fact there should be!!! So, I decided to cancel within the specified time being that the site was useless and thought all was said and done when I received my return confirmation from razoreye via e-mail.
About a month after this I received a charge of $38.83 for something called "Privacy Chest? " and had NO IDEA what it was??? After a quick search I learned that it was also part of the Razoreye Media Group's websites and called to have the charge removed as it was an erroneous charge due to the fact that I NEVER signed up for this service or wanted it!!! Well, they tell me that I did in fact sign up for this service when I signed up for the "Web Detective" as there was already a box checked and in order to refuse this additional offer I should have un-checked the box???
I thought this is absolutely ridiculous... if I want to purchase something I should have to personally click and check a box if I desire to do so... I shouldn't have to un-check a box??? Well, the support rep for Razoreye told me that if I didn't want the service I had signed up for it... then I should have sent an e-mail with-in the 30-day trial period stating that I wanted to cancel it and I wouldn't have been charged a cent??? How does this make sense when I didn't even know I had signed up for it in the first place??? I had sent an e-mail to cancel the "Web no finding of any information Detective" but that e-mail of course is completely different than the one you need to cancel the "Privacy Chest"
So, needless to say... I have gotten nowhere... they refuse to refund my money and I am freakin pissed!! This is a crappy company who doesn't give a crap about the customer. All they want to do is trick you into purchasing something you had no intention of and after the trial period they bang you with a fee that they refuse to refund because they know its ALL A SCAM!!!
SCAM... SCAM... SCAM... This Company Is Nothing More Than SCAM ARTISTS!!
