I purchased two playbooks on sears.ca website. Credit card was processed and even the phone catelogue office indicated that it was on backorder to be shipped in December.
Two weeks later received an email stating that my order is cancelled due to manufactures cancelling their supply.
They did not provide any compensation or alterative solution. In fact, they did not refund my credit card. They indicate that it is a third party individual and I would have to wait until they process it. No compensation for the loss there either!
I called their customer service and they were rude, incosiderate, and provided no solution.
In fact, they hung up the phone when I indicated that I will no longer shop at Sears!
