Mailed a check for $975.00 for me to cash and use to pay a processing fee of $910.00 and later I would receive $17, 000 in prize money. ripoff

Alcan Financial Services sent a letter about unclaimed prize money in the amount of $17975, particpants were selected throug a reader's digest, publisher's clearing house data base... Australia, New Zealand, Europe, North and South America, South Africa and Asia as part of an International Promptions Program (IPP).

International Law ensures that a winner pays a processing fee before the funds are released. The processing fee is $910.00 and the check sent to me is $975.00 USD.

The funds are now deposited with Alcan Financial Services and insured in my name. I will be advised by a claims agent on how the processing fee will be sent and the balance of $17, 000 will be sent to me via a courier company of choice after the processing fee payment is confirmed.
