Thanks in advance to everyone who submitted stories on this company. They've been an entertaining read, and an eye opener. I didn't find this site until after my meeting, here's how it went.
I failed the first interview...
Yes! It can happen!
I started off by apologizing that I would have to cut the appointment in half, as I had a (business social) networking event to attend. He wasn't happy. He then started to bash my online posted resume credentials. I wasn't happy. He then read through my resume and found out I'm an officer, pursuing a law degree, with many friends in JAG or private firms. He REALLY wasn't happy with that. He then cut the appointment an additional 10 minutes shorter and walked me to the door.
I informed him that I didn't think that BHA was a good fit for me, and that I probably wouldn't be needing his services. He informed me that he'd already made that decision. I smiled as I shook his hand and left.
I didn't burst into laughter until I was in the hallway outside their office.
If anyone else has some good "I beat" BHA stories, please post them. They are worth a chuckle... ;)
