I was signed to them in february of 2006, for a year, and I have the receipt I was given when I paid the agency fee to prove it. I did 2 music videos and a photoshoot. I got paid on the spot from the 2nd video (in cash) I did in June-ish of 2007, but the first one I did was in April of 2007 (music video for 235 Films, director Warren P. Sodona for The Wilkinsons 'Nobody Died') and they said they had to invoice it (approx $100-$150). I got the photoshoot (It was for a 'project BASF' @ Pickto studios 55 mill st. building 5 suite 430 @ 12:30) in August 2007 and that was $100 an hour and I was there for 3.5-4 hours, again I was called a few days to a week later and was told that they had to invoice it.
When I was signed Bridget was the new faces person and Bindia was my agent. Bridgett had left soon after (about the time they had moved into a new office on Richmond) and then soon after that I received an email telling me that Bindia was gone too and left her job to this Amanda. Amanda was absolutly useless to me as an agent, I would call her with questions and she had no answers for me ever.
I started calling to pick up my money about 6 months later because no one had called me and they said my cheque was in the first time I called but I was unable to make it down that day. Then I would call to make sure that their accounting guy who deals with the cheques was in, because we were only able to pick up cheques on the 15th and 30th of the month (or so I was told when I was signed and would call), and he was either in a meeting, out or the receptionists could not find him or the cheques. I had the one girl almost crying because this was this past year (2008/09) and they had owed me my money for over and year and I was telling her how frustrated I was with them and this is VERY unprofessional of them, and she left notes and called me back later that day to see if their accountant had called me back, of course he NEVER DID. Now when I call there is no answer, the phone number I have for them (416-653-2484) is dead... and they owe me $400 to $500 (ish)
