I was at Stitches shopping at one of it weekend sales. When I got to the cash I had about 20 items in my hand so I wasn't really checking the screen because the prices were on all of the items which I had picked up so I had a mental figure of what the price would total. When my amount came to way more than expected I asked the cashier the price of the last items I put in which were frilled blouses. She stated "$12." I replied, " All of the tags say $5.99." She asked the cashier infront of her who with a quick glance repeated, "$12" as she turned back to what she was doing. I told her, "All of the blouses there say $5.99 not just these." She said rudely, " So it was a mistake do you want them or not? " I told her that I was suppose to get them at the price the tag states she said she couldn't and I asked to be directed to the manager. Which was a lady I wrote her name down. She was very rude and said no where would they give me for the price on the tag. I stated Wxxxx does. She said, "Well I cannot give you for $5.99 its $12." I said, "The whole entire back rack of 100 or more shirts say $5.99" She was unphased by this and did not call someone to go and change it immediately as I would have expected. I asked for the supervisor who was a man. Beyond rude slammed the door in my face first then when he did come out he yelled at me infront of everyone in the store and said, "Your crazy no way nobody would do that. Somebody made a mistake that is not the price." I said, "Then someone should change it." Before I could finish he was back in the room and had slammed the door on me again. I took a picture of the tags and the lady manager and left.
My advice is to watch the cashier's screen to ensure the price on the tag is the price that is ringing up because they obvious know that the pricing is wrong but could care less.
