Beware of Domenic's Music Stores when dealing with them. I would suggest you avoid that store, and if you do business with them always get written of everything and have them signed. They hold equipment/tools and parts and ask you hafty non-sense fees. They trap you, by not returning your goods, equipment until you pay them what ever they ask in fees. Here is what happened to us.
We went to store Saturday (24th January, 2009) afternoon to buy replacement nut. Thy said it is for $2. Mr. Kevin who was serving us could not find the correct size for it. Even before he could have found the right size in the store, he broke existing nut of our guitar. If they did not had one fitting the guitar he should not have broken one existing. He they have to order the one, which fit to guitar. Technician has to see on Monday to order one. He wanted to keep our guitar but I reluctant, I asked him if he just keep the broken nut but they said it technician has to see to order it. They did not mention any thing, it it would cost more than $2 or ordered nut or how much it cost. I assumed it would be few bucks.
Today they called us to pickup the guitar. when we went they said $45 tax. We were very shocked to hear that for $2 nut they were charging about $50. They said it is written on the small piece of card they gave us as the claim. That was the piece of card they gave us when we were leaving the store as the proof that we had kept the guitar with them, no sign and no mention of $50 to us. Now I realize why they broke the nut and insist on keeping the guitar. They ripped us off when we go to pick the guitar.
