On June 4th, 2008, I ordered a silver ring from Celtic Studio. The stated time for delivery was "6-8 weeks."
After numerous e-mails and telephone calls to Canada, _a ring_ was finally delivered - on in MID-OCTOBER, 2009. It looked nothing like the ring pictured on the web, or in the images sent to me via e-mail prior to the purchase.
In response to my e-mailed complaints, the proprietor apologised and made weak excuses about having to "rush" the job (*19 WEEKS*, remember?) due to the failure of subcontractors he had shopped things out to (!?), and claimed he would re-do the ring using a better process.
I sent the original back to him, with additional money to cover his return postage; he received it in mid-November, 2008. That was over 15 Weeks ago.
Since then, I have had no response to the three e-mails I have sent requesting information. He ("Louis" - the proprietor) has my money; he has the original (depressingly shoddy quality) ring; he has the money I sent for shipping the promised re-worked ring, and I am out well over a hundred additional dollars in telephone charges to Canada. All I have are his lame e-mailed excuses, apologies, and promises...
If you do business with this "merchant, " you may well suffer as I have done: beware!
