I got similar letter from BW Marketing Solutions Inc.which I believe is the same scam that has already been reported. It came with a check made payable to myself in the amount of $1, 355.00 USD.
The letter stated that: I had been selected to participate in a paid Consumer Research Program. As a selected candidate I would be acting as a Customer Service Evaluator of the assigned companies in my area.
The letter also stated that BWM Customer Service is an employment firm that specializes in conducting research and assisting corporations in evaluating the quality of customer service provided to their clients.
BWM claims to represent over 1200 research firms across Europe and North America. The letter continues on about their research methods are well acclaimed and proven to be most efective in evaluating customer service.
That their successes are due to a method known as "Secret Shopping"
The letter states that upon receipt of this letter, I should call their office (# 1-289-888-2814) and talk to my Research Associate Tony. to be guided thru the " Probation Training Task" as well as receive instructions and to have some kind of security code removed from the check so it can be cashed.
Along the left side running down the letter is a list of so called sponsors logos.
PizzaHut-BestBuy-MoneyGram-McDonalds-Sears-Wal-Mart- Western Union-Lowe's-Wendy's-Costco-BurgerKing.
3/4 way down the letter is a chart that details the disbursement of the enclosed funds.
