On a plain white envelope my name and address was typed. Inside was a check for $4, 875.00. This was only the beginning of my big winning of $150, 000.00. All I had to do was deposit the money into the bank and then call back for further instructions on how to Western Union $2, 875.00 to an unnamed tax agent. Since being out of work for two years with my disabilities, and my kids taking care of me, i was very excited and went straight to the bank. I was then told although the check itself looked very very real, it was attached to a scam that would cost me thousands in the long run. When I got home I called the bank that the check was written off of, Washington Mutaul in Florida. They are already aware of the scam and said thank you for letting them know that yet another family was vitimized.
