Wow my sweetie just won $10, 220.17 and they even gave her a check to sucure a surety bond for $1, 580.25. This sounds terrific, now we have some spare cash! Yipee. She is all excited, and I'm very suspicious. I got on the computer and looked for these guys on line, no such luck, she called the numbers on the contact form and the checks.
The notification was very exact in saying that all prizes not claimed by a certain date, which happpened to be Monday, and today is Saturday, will not be honored and given to charity, this makes you think you have to take care of this ASAP.
I typed in on the Google search tool bar, and came to the Fox complaint and read a very similar account, only a few names have been changed, so these guys are still at it. As I was reading the the complaint to her I could see she was getting so disapointed.
The checks look so real, drawn on Chase Bank of Columbus Ohio, with telephone numbers, and so on. She called the number and the woman answering the phone at Chase Bank (not really), asked for bank routing numbers and check numbers, and confirmed that they were real checks, and told her to keep trying to contact ficticious name Stacey Wells at Bardens Exchange Bureau for further instructions.
If something sounds to good to be true, well guess what?
Thank You Fox complaint for educating us and letting us know we are about to get taken for a cleaning.
